Personal Statement

The idea of visually constructing something not just visually stunning, and analytically thought through grasps my attention immediately, especially when its challenges you to seek further into and to analyse the visual statement to fully understand what its appeals and really represents, this is why i am applying for a graphics degree and want to continue my third year with a Ba (hons) to open up my opinions to purse my career into a graphics design area.
My other hobbies consist of in the area of Art and design, such as fine art and illustration which can contribute into the stylisation and development to each original visual study I fabricate. I believe that painting and myself initiated fictive imagination is an advantage that pushes my graphics to a different depth of originality.
I have been incorporated and engaged in the area of art and design developing my abilities from a young age and have been embracing many different experiences to a degree in which I feel that I have higher my ability in what I can produce as a final outcome. Comparatively an experience that has changed my perspective on this area was a work experience at Aardman Animations, a British Bristol based company that showed me many different areas of Production in their business, which was respectively gave me quite an insight on such incandescent animation studio, being inspired by such a man as Nick Park is probably why I have the confidence, courage and motivation to push my ideas to take steps forward and then take in valuable information such as criticism, inspiration and ideologies in which i can condense, twist and form into new conventional ideas that are authentic.
In 2009 i was involved in the youth council and was associated with the art gallery that was with held within that summer of that year. This gallery was entirely a youth production exhibiting work that was of adolescents aged 11-17 years old, presenting a complete range of mixed media, from 10am to 6pm i was there greeting each and every visitor that occurred that 5 day period. At the moment i have taken a level ¾ foundation at Weston collage, I have taken this course not as a another year of producing more work and to develop my skills i have also taken it to settle my feet gather my ground and to finally decide what area of Art and Design that I feel far more comfortable in working in a proceeding as a subject of my career which is Graphics and illustration.
